Legend And Legacy opened it's doors on Friday night to the public. I am absolutely over the moon with the turn out of people that came along to the opening! Hope you all enjoyed your evening as much as I did!
I am really touched that so many of my friends and family traveled such long distances just to make the event. Fantastic having my support crew there!
I was equally as honored to have so many unfamiliar faces at the opening. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people and having some interesting conversations about the work. Thought I would share some photos taken during the set up, opening night and the morning after at the gallery.
I love this gallery ! I honestly can't thank the Incubator Creative Hub team enough! Every detail, from the food, to the live entertainment, to the moving Karakia was carefully considered to work in harmony with the artwork itself. Especially grateful to Simone Anderson who has supported me every step of the way and also Graham Crow who has mentored me through the process of working toward my first solo exhibition.
The exhibition runs for three weeks till the 30th of October. Signed prints of all the work on display is available for purchase, either framed or unframed. Fundraising jigsaws for Maungaarangi Kindergarten featuring my artwork can also be ordered from The Incubator over the course of the exhibition.
